Do your cookies or cakes contain nuts?

Some of the gourmet cookies and cakes do contain nuts. Although our decorated cookies and some cakes do not contain nuts they are made in a kitchen that does handle nuts so we do not recommend those with extreme nut allergies eat them.

Are your cookies or cakes kosher?

Do you make gluten free or sugar free cookies or cakes?

What type of icing do you use on your decorated sugar cookies?

We use royal icing.

Why are there no birthday or holiday designs to choose from?

Owning your own business gives you the luxury of tailoring it to fit your values and beliefs and since we are a family owned business we decided to use that luxury. We realize that it will cost us some sales, but while money is a necessity it is not the most important thing. However we do have a variety of designs that fit the sentiment of almost any occasion that you can choose from.

Are the designs exactly as they appear on the website?

Since each cookie is handmade there may be slight variations such as the shade of color on the cookie may be a little different from that on the website.

How are the cookie bouquets and cookie favors packaged?

Each cookie pop in a cookie bouquet is individually wrapped in clear cellophane in order to keep them fresh and protected. Cookie favors are individually wrapped in a clear cellophane bag and tied with a coordinating ribbon.

How are the gourmet cookies and the cakes packaged?

They are packaged in a bakery box.

Fill out and submit our order form. Within 24 hours you will receive a Pay Pal invoice which must be paid before your order is confirmed. We would prefer if you pay within 24 hours of receiving the invoice so you can be added to our production schedule. Our production schedule is filled on a first come first serve basis so be sure to pay your invoice as soon as possible.

How do I order cookie favors if I live outside the delivery area?

Add your favors to the shopping cart and be sure to fill out all the personalization fields.

The lead time does not include days in transit for cookie favors. For example if you live in a zone where your favors (under 50) will be in transit for 2 days and your event is on the 15th of the month we need to receive your payment by the 6th of the month. Your lead time begins when your payment is received.

Delivery and Shipping

Where do you deliver to?

We currently deliver to parts of Baltimore County. Please see our Delivery page for specific areas and fees. We hope to expand our delivery area soon. If your neighborhood is not listed please send us an email with your neighborhood and zip code and we will let you know when we start delivering to that area. In the mean time you can still have cookie favors shipped to you.

What are your delivery hours?

We deliver Mondays and Wednesdays-Fridays between 9 am and 7 pm; Tuesdays between 9 am and 5 pm and Saturdays between 1 pm and 7pm. You will be able to pick a 2 hour window in which you prefer delivery. You should also pick a alternate time frame. When you receive your invoice it will tell you if your preferred delivery time will be used. You should pay your invoice within 24 hours to ensure to hold your delivery time.

What can cause delays in delivery?

Extreme weather, incorrect address given or no response at the address can cause delays. If we attempt to deliver and there is no one to collect the order we will have to reattempt delivery and you may be charged a second delivery fee.

Do you ship all of your items?

No we only ship cookie favors. Our cookie bouquets and dessert are delivery only.

Can I pick up my order?

Unfortunately, No. We do not currently have a storefront where orders can be picked up from.

How do you ship cookie favors?

We ship via UPS. For zones where the transit time is 1 or 2 days we ship UPS Ground.  If you live in a zone where the transit time is more than 2 days we ship UPS Second Day Air. We only ship out on Mondays through Wednesdays because UPS does not deliver on the weekends and we do not want your favors sitting in a warehouse over the weekend. See our Delivery page for fees. You will receive a copy of the tracking information as soon as it is shipped.

Where do you ship cookie favors to?

We currently only ship to the 48 contiguous United States. Unfortunately we do not ship to Hawaii and Alaska because Second Day Air is not guaranteed and we prefer to not have cookie favors in transit for more than 2 days. See our Delivery page for fees.

Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?

We do not ship to P.O. Boxes. It must be a physical address and we will not be held responsible if there is not someone there to receive the order.

When do you recommend cookie favors to arrive?

We recommend you have your favors delivered two days before your event. The favors will still be fresh for your event.

How should I store my decorated cookies?

They should be stored in a cool, dry place. They should not be refrigerated or kept in a hot place as humidity and moisture may cause dark spots to appear in the icing. The royal icing seals in the moisture of the cookies and keeps it fresh longer so once they are kept sealed they will be fresh for 3 weeks.

What about my gourmet cookies and cakes

Gourmet cookies should be stored in an airtight container and should be eaten 2 weeks after receipt.  Our desserts can be refrigerated, but with the exception of our cheesecakes they should be brought to room temperature before serving for the best taste. You can also slice our desserts and wrap them tightly in layers of plastic wrap and aluminum foil and freeze them. That way you can thaw out a slice whenever you have a craving.
